‘Petites Announces’-An Evening of Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt

‘Petites Announces’ play a mix of gypsy jazz (Django Reinhardt et al), those bonnes old french chansons, from Charles Trenet to Jacques Dutronc, Boris Vian or Yan et les Abeilles.
The beautiful swinging melodies may take you back to a Parisian cafe or a romantic stroll along the Seine. The beat of the double bass will set your foot tapping to the Gipsy-jazz swing. It’s reminiscent of the Yann Tiersen sound tracks in the film ‘Amélie’.
Established since 2005 Petites Annonces has played at some places like The Quecumbar in London, IGGF Gossington, Cloughtoberfest in Ireland, the Gillingham Festival, Salisbury Live, Gold Hill Festival, the Bell Street Cafe in Shaftesbury and entertained many weddings and private events.
This North Dorset group are one of ArtsReach’s most popular performers.
